Our Fall Fundraiser has begun!
This year we are selling different types of nuts through the company The Nut Lady, out of Albany, NY. We are offering 5 oz. and 8 oz packages of Almonds, Cashews, Pecans, Walnuts and Mixed varieties. These nuts hare all natural and baked in a cinnamon-meringue coating. Additionally, both sizes are available 'regular' and sugar & salt free. There are no additives and they are both gluten-free and Kosher! If you would like to sell nuts on behalf of SVTRC, please email Amber at amber. svtrc@gmail.com and she'll be happy to send you the order form! If you would like to place an order, please contact Amber by email (above) or call the office: 802-221-4409. All of our fundraising efforts truly make a difference and allow us to continue to provide programming to our wonderful and worthy clients! This Fundraiser will be held until October 12th. Checks can be made out to SVTRC. Thank you for your continued support of the Southern Vermont Therapeutic Riding Center, without the dedication of hard-working supporters and volunteers, we would not be here!

Here's a truly moving article about our own Celine!
http://gracecottage.org/patient-story-i-want-to-walk-at-graduation/ Fall has arrived at SVTRC! The leaves already look a little less green and the nights are a little cooler. We have begun our fall session with our local schools, and everyone at SVTRC is excited for the fuller schedules (okay, maybe the horses aren't thrilled)! Lessons are going great and as always, we have to thank our many volunteers for helping out throughout each week!
We'd also like to take a second and welcome Ramona, a chestnut QH mare that is on lease to us from Amy Treat. So far, we think Miss Ramona will be a great addition to our little staff! SVTRC continues to prepare for our upcoming Holiday Party and Silent Auction- if you'd like to donate a service or item, please contact us! Our amazing equine staff work very hard to make participants' experiences enjoyable and beneficial, and can always use some TLC! We offer a program called Barn Buddies to help offset the costs of caring for our Most Valuable Staff! Check out the link below to learn more about how to become a Barn Buddy for the SVTRC horses, and the different sponsorship options. Every little bit helps, and our equine buddies deserve it!
